To use this feature, log in to your LinkedIn account and go to the ‘Jobs’ section on the top of the window. From there, the second section named ‘Jobs You May Be Interested In’ has a hyperlink in it labeled ‘Update Your Career Interests’.  When you click on that, it takes you to the area where you can ‘Let Recruiters Know You’re Open.’  You can also list what kinds of positions you’re looking for, where you’re willing to work or relocate to and even a little summary.  This summary can be used as a brief introduction like a miniature cover letter. Let the recruiters know quickly why you would be a valuable asset to their organization.
